you have more than enough to give back

Did you know that it is a LIE to believe that you don’t have enough to give to others? The devil is tricky, if he can make you think that you are too poor to give to people, then you never will. All the money that God has blessed you with, you will hoard and keep for yourself because you don’t trust that God will actually provide for your needs, so you try to “take care of yourself” It sounds pretty silly when I actually type it out, but that is the reality that people face. The reason people don’t tithe & give to others, is not because they can’t “afford” it- but it is because 1. they don’t have Christ’s heart or 2. they don’t have faith to believe that God will provide/give back to them. This is something I have never really struggled with (but been around a lot of people who do), I think because ever since I was a child I have seen the joy it has brought both my parents to constantly be blessing people (in ways that could NEVER be repaid.) I also as crazy as it sounds, believe that God has given me an anointing to give people gifts lol (seriously)l. The most random times, God tells me to bless someone (with some sort of gift, big or small) and then it always turns out to be “the perfect timing” “just what they prayed for” “what was needed” etc etc. & I know that is completely 100% because of God’s divine grace, all I have to do is be obedient. I have so many things in my life, and if don’t share with others- that is so selfish. I have been talking with my sister about how we feel terrible that there is so many homeless people/ people in need and when we drive by the best we can give them is some change or a couple dollars if I even have cash (which i never have). She felt like God told her to make some bags with essentials in them and leave in her car, so i jumped on the idea with her. Today we went to the dollar store& target…spent around $50, for 10 bags. (we filled them pretty full too) and now have some bags to give to people ready in our car, instead of driving by. We both decided that we needed to pray for the people, so each bag has a personal card written directly to the person that we prayed for (and we listened to the Holy Spirit on what it should say), and we will continue to pray for those people. Im not saying this to brag, or say how “holy we are” because that isn’t true, I’m saying it to challenge others. You might not have a million dollars, but you have $5. You have food to share, you have extra clothes, you have feet to walk to a store and hands to buy essentials for others. There is no excuses for not helping people around you. God will on judgment day hold us accountable for….” King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!’ (Matthew 25:40) basically, what we did when we see the people in need, did we stop and help or did we walk away saying we “couldn’t” help??? I know in my life I want God to thank me for helping others, and treating them like Christ himself would, instead of saying “you made too many excuses and never really lived a life of blessing others”

Live selfless. The small things matter too.

You can help others. You are never “too poor” that God can’t pay you back, for giving to others. You will feel so accomplished, so thankful when you help those around you who will NEVER be able to pay you back. 💞
